Bioauxilium specializes in the design, development and manufacturing of ready-to-use TR-FRET assay kits that simplify laboratory workflow and accelerate drug discovery and life sciences research.
Induced Proximity (IP) is a versatile strategy in drug discovery that uses small molecules or biologics as molecular matchmakers to bring a target protein and a cellular effector protein together to modulate the function of a target and the related cellular processes. IP encompasses two approaches: Targeted Protein Degradation (TPD) and non-degrading protein modulation. TPD includes heterobifunctionals (such as the targeted protein degraders, PROTACs) and molecular glue degraders. Non-degrading protein modulation includes non-degrating molecular glues and RIPTACs. These proximity-inducing modalities have opened new opportunities for therapeutic development.
We support IP research and development with a portfolio of validated, ready to use cell-based assay kits and toolbox reagents for developing effective proximity-inducing drugs. These THUNDER® TR-FRET tools are used in both basic research and drug discovery applications, including profiling of PROTACs, molecular glues and other small molecules or biologics that induce protein modulation.
